MySQL database erased by webhoster

..during an upgrade, so my site is not working anymore. What can I so the content would not be erased?

All your files and database is backed up regularly.
Contact your webhost to recover your data.
Actually TELL them to do it for you - tell them to recover your site as it was (you're paying for the webspace AND the service).

P.S. Recovering your data from the last backup file may mean that very recent changes are lost (an exhibit you created 5 minutes after the last backup, for example...)

Pray they are backed up...they aren't always backed up...unfortunately.

It's true, backup procedures vary from host to host.
