Sorry wrong forum, I dunno how to delete this.

Hello,

I've set all my exhibitions etc up and have it all working nicely. Now I need to set the new indexhibition site as my homepage. How do I do that? Do I need to rename the index.php document?

the page that comes up is an old version of the site that i deleted (apart from the old index.html page). i'm not quite sure how to replace it with my new indexhibit site. maybe i have my files in the wrong place?

is your index.php in the root folder, with the index.html file?

If that's the case, you just need to delete the index.html file and voilà.

Where have you installed indexhibit?

in the same folder my last site was in, which i presume was the root folder.
my last site worked fine from there.

I'm not sure what's going on here...but I can see that it does not know where to find your template.

Login to the system
Go to 'Settings'
Turn 'Advanced Mode' to 'On'
Select 'Eatock' or 'Sample' and update

Check the site

See if that works...

You deleted it...probably when you deleted a section. There is a popup warning note when you delete sections.

Search the forum for 'site reset script' - hopefully it can help.

I've got the same problem as Woof Woof, and for the life of me I can't work out how to get my site to work on it's URL (http://www.samrobertsdesign.co.uk).
It works fine if the URL of the projects (http://www.indexhibit.org/forum/thread/6409/) are put in, but my homepage just won't come up! Can you help please!?

I've noticed that if you put in...
http://www.samrobertsdesign.co.uk/index.php?
it goes to the page set as the index...
would you know how we can get rid of the '?' in the url as that should make it work shouldn't it?!

Somehow, you managed to delete the main page of the site - probably by deleting a section (there is a warning whenever you delete a section about this kind of thing).

Search the forum for 'site reset script' and it should help you rebuild the default 'main' page.

Hi, I ran the script, it said it "recreated the page", I deleted the script, but it still won't work...
I still just get:
