Logo doesn't appear on ie/firefox

I don't know why but my logo at the side bar appears only on safari. Under pre-nav text, I inserted:

I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong or missing?

It's not right...instead of...

  1. <img src ="http://www.joannechew.com/files/gimgs/logo.jpg">

should be...

thanks, vaska! i tried making the change, but it still doesn't appear. I inserted the code under the pre-nav text under the settings options.

wonder what's wrong now? hmmm...

Works in Firefox for me...but...you didn't paste it exactly as it is shown above.

Thanks vaska! I repasted the code you inserted and updated it but still I don't know why it doesn't appear on firefox. It appears on yours? that's so strange.

I'm wondering if I put the code in the right area, under the pre-nav text.

i just tried the code on the on i'm building for myself. it didn't work until i removed the space before the />
