Hello!
First of all bigup to indexhibit team!

Now im working on an indexhibit site for my dad for his birthday and he is very upset by my restriction on combining text with images! He is an artist and the main purpose is to show images BUT the artwork needs explanation and it would be great to show the pics firs and to end up with a text. I bet that it would make a lot of indexhibit fans much happyer)

Is there any way to do that?

Thanks a tonn!!!

maybe searching the forum for long captions might help you?

But, if you are using Thickbox it won't - that format has limitations on it that go beyond Indexhibit.

So whats the verdict?
There is no way we can mix texts and images?
Exept puting an html link above the text in the field?

You could customize an exhibition format to display long texts.

My bad!
I found a post with the same problem and trying to work it out.

Is there a way we can make a deal on a commercial basis if i fail?

all i need is a floating menu, an over and over exhibit style with an ability to add text below images as i want.

souns simple but not for an artist and a designer like myself.

thanks!

as far as I know the longer captions can work with longer captions, and there is also a thread Divide Exhibit Into Sections 'mod' that you should read if you didn't yet.
I've used that info and it works well enough for me, letting me write also html in it, see an example
here
