@caferoyal:
It's one of the features that's been disabled/nerfed in the demo: allowing so many people to upload images larger than 50 kB could bring the server to its knees in no time
As a feature of Indexhibit v2, uploading images larger than a certain size has been disabled. The cap is at 200 kB. Still, if you really need to upload images larger than that, this can be changed by the user
@Sasz:
There will be basic selection of formats and themes in the standard release (more than in the demo, and people will be able to adapt, customize, create new formats/themes, etc. just like in the old indexhibit
no database? there's a mysql database behind, yes. There are many differences with old indexhibit, and more than quite a few under the hood, but we hope it's still recognizable ;)
All CMS systems need a database to be able to create html pages dynamically, that's where all user created information is stored, except for media (images, video, sound) which are saved in the server as files.
