Any way to make the images expand faster in Visual Index?
All images are less than 110kb.

Yes, but we haven't done it yet. I'm currently on vacation so it will be a bit.
What we need to do is add some preloading to the format and this will happen (I've already done some work on it).
;)
That's good news, enjoy your vacation:-)
Great to find this here. Looking forward to a speed increase as well. The old version was v. snappy!
any news on the visual index load time fix?
any news on this? Changed to documenta as it is still superslow loading
Hello -
Did you search the forum?
In this recent indexhibit.org/forum/thread/20171/ thread Vaska suggests to comment out the sleep commands
//sleep(2);
Hmm tried to cancel out by // but did not affect it...
Hi I am still struggling to figure out how to make it faster, this time on this website:
theboilerroom.no/matteo-rosa/
Any suggestions? It is just so slow no matter how big or small the image is, I tried one at 5kb - just as slow as one at 185kb
Did you do the sleep thing again?
Yes, still so slow - don't know why, the grow in Legacy was superfast - any way to use that on v2?
Because it attempts to load the image before loading to the page. Grow didn't and often you had to sit there and watch the image load.
And I'm willing to bet your images now are much larger...
They are generally around 160-180kb - for now over and over will do, less clicking:-)
