Whether I do an upgrade install OR a clean install, the characters "index.php" are inserted into every filepath!

For example, if I click "Projects," the filepath is "mattysmith.com/index.php/project/"

I can't figure out how to resolve this problem. In preview, the filepath appears as it should and I can see all of my files, correctly. For example, mattysmith.com/project/. At the moment I'm in a clean install but I'm gonna do an upgrade again and keep plugging away. Any help would be appreciated. I contacted my hosting provider and my server meets all specifications.

And here's the fix.

Just need to update the new code in config. Whoops.
