Hello. When logging in to my Indexexhibit admin page I see I am not in https. I believe this means my password is being transmitted in plain text. Is there a way to beef up my installation either with changes to Indexehibit, or does it need to take place on the side of server admin? — Thanks.

Your password is not stored as plain text in the database. And, after you are actually logged in it uses a hash and not the password in any way shape or form.
