I'm creating a portfolio site. And when I set up the image galleries, the thumbnals stack right aligned. see here: laurencekell.co.uk/newsite/index.php/drawings/

Is there a way of making them stack left aligned?

Try setting Visual index with permalinks as the onclick option.
