Indexhibit Support

Hi , im sorry for my english but i will try ^^

So my pictures dont want download , i have try all of that :

1- Browser trying : safari , firefox , google chrome
2- My pictures are : 32Kb ... size 400px/200px
3- I have try it : in the folder : /ndxzsite/config/options.php i have change this :
// images max size kilobytes
// be careful with shared hosting
$default['maxsize'] = 500;

and it dont work ...

Then somebody ask me if i have good autorisation from my folders ... so i think its good but i dont knox where did i can verifing that on all my folders ...
Then somebody ask me if i my Webhosting have a "mod_security" and i dont know where i can see that ( because im a noob ^^ ) on OVH webhosting ... someboby
know ?

Hello

Check your folder permissions.
Use an ftp application and find out if they have the correct folder permissions.

As for the mod_rewrite issue, contact your host and ask them.

/www/files = 777
/www/files/gimgs = 777
i have suprim this files : install.php
/www/ndxzsite/config = 777
/www/ndxzsite/config/config.php = 644

It seems to you good ?

What is the mod_rewrite issue ??

make sure your images are web-friendly: use the Save for Web & Devices option if you're a Photoshop user. Generally, though images should be prepared in RGB mode, 72dpi and cropped in pixels.

i have testing all that possibilitys :

1- picture Jpeg 400dpi X 200dpi ( RVB ) = 34K
2- picture Png 400dpi X 200dpi ( RVB ) = 3K
and since testing of Vaska i have try too :
3-Picture Gif 400dpiX200dpi ( RVB ) ...

I have try to copy pictures of Vaska on my computer then i try with it , and he dont want download the picture ...

My window is open then i do : add files , then i see my file like if is going to download it but ... no ... he dont download ...

Maybe its beacause i have software alling : Little snitch ?? do you know it ?

Little Snitch could be the problem. Or, you should try a different browser or computer.

It works perfectly for me...everything is working properly.

Ok i have try on another computer ( im lucky i have two .. ) so , i found the problem ,

My first try was on firefox and i was doind : add a file , then i do load , and when i do load , indexhibit open me a new window for add file you know .....

Then i have try on google chrome i was doind add files , then load files and it work !!!
incredible it working !! :D

Then i return on my first computer , i try one more time on firefox , i do : add files,
then i do load ... an d surprise ! it working !!!! incredible ... so i understand the problem , when you used firefox , after doing add files you do load but you must do a "clic"on the button load on the corner right off the button : load ....

And its ok like it it working ....
