Visual Index / Overlay - Transparent index page under overlying image

Hello,

Thank you for Indexhibit. I am enjoying designing my website so far.

Am trying to customise the visual index on my site so that when I click on an image it comes out over the index page, which then becomes transparent behind it. Like this posseltphotography.com/…

I've looked through the visual index and overlay topics in the forum, but have not found what I'm looking for. The page I am trying to customise is mayetaclark.com/index.php/stills/piano-rites/

Any help much appreciated.
Thanks.

If it's the white overlay you're after then if you go to Admin/Formats/Visual Index, options you'll find an a select dropdown menu called overlay - simply select Light.

Hello, Actually I have it set to light already. But when I click on an image, the whole area around the image disappears and becomes white, rather than transparent.. so the image doesn't appear to pop out of the screen so much as it does with these: posseltphotography.com/…

Thanks again.

You can make it transparent by editing its CSS file - /ndxzsite/css/overlay.css - I believe I've left a comment in the file about opacity.

Edited by Vaska: this was incorrect code - see below.
