Transparent menu in "Visual Index"

Trying to make my menu bar transparent through all layers of my site.

I have got it working up until viewing a full size image in the gallery. Now its stuck and seemingly impossible to force transparency.

First file I edited was: "style.css" to make the index transparent, then "overlay.css" to make the thumbs menu transparent, now I am at the full size image page, and cant figure it out.

I have combed through every line of code, but cant find where to specify "transparent".

Please help.

I don't understand exactly - your #index is transparent. The black background comes from the body tag.

Thanks for the quick response. Let me break it down visually because I cant really explain.

I was able to make the menu transparent for the index page (edited: style.css):
lieberman.asia/index.php/

Then I also had success for the thumbs view of "Visual Index" Exhibit format (edited: overlay.css):
lieberman.asia/index.php/facades/

However when clicking on any of the thumbs to open a full image, the black menu bar comes back:
lieberman.asia/index.php/facades/…

Where do I make the edit for this?

Thanks again.

Since you want the background image to work throughout your site why don't you edit the backgrounder plugin like in this post: indexhibit.org/forum/thread/16431/
?

Sure I did that already. This is how I got the background in there.

Still your answer doesnt address my issue. Is there no way to do it?

Haha. I got it! Thanks for forcing me to think about it! Much appreciated.
