I already installed simple news on a another website and it worked fine. I seem to be experiencing a bug here, there is really something going wrong. I'm sure it's me though ! :)

I followed all your steps, and it's all fine. I know about the videos and photos, everything is in the html box as code.

My ACTUALITÉS section is my NEWS section.

When i click on it, on the menu, it works fine and appears perfectly.

But the idea is that the main page shows the news, as default. And for the moment, It only shows a video from the news section, but not the text and the rest. I can't understand what is happenning.

The only thing I am not sure about is the section id number as it does not appears in my url...

I just can't sort things out... I'm missing something for sure.

not sure what you did there, but the section id doesn't normally appear in the url.
to find out the correct section id number you must go to your exhibit settings page, click on the edit news section (or whatever name you gave to your news section) and watch the url in your browser: the section id will magically appear there

I've got the section id there, and it's the right value I entered.
So something else must be wrong.

Hello everyone,
I'm still struggling with my problem but I found a track.
One of my news thread cannot be deleted...There is no delete button appearing. Strangely enough all the other threads look fine in the exhibit.
How could I change that?

Ok, i'm getting further on my own. Apparently, the problem is that my news page is not considered as my main page. How can I get through that issue ?

hi, sorry I've missed this thread for a while...
I've seen your images up there and I guess the problem is that you might have misunderstood what the section id number is...
section 1 might be, but it is not the first section on top of your backend list.
are you sure that you carefully read this post above?
