Hello All,
So I've been trying to work on a problem for a friend's website. I've ran into the common database problem. I've triple checked the details:
DB Server:localhost
DB Name: erik08
DB Username:xxxxxx
DB Password: xxxxxx
I just have a question:
Can having the same password and DB name cause the problem? I really doubt this is the case, but don't have solid proof of my opinion.
The problem I think lies in where the DB server is located. I've contacted the webhost and they provided "localhost" or the IP address 66.7.215.126 - neither seem to work. Has anyone used solely the IP address in that box, and had success? I've never seen it, and I've tinkered with a few indexhibit sites. Any help would be must appreciated. Thanks.

Sidenote- When I go directly to erikdeluca.comerikdeluca.com it gives me a "Database is not installed." error. Ideas?
