I'm unable to log in. Password and user name not being recognized, nor is my email address.

Plugins page at the left has a password reset script you can use.

It's a bug that affects some servers - an update is forthcoming.

i have followed the directions but i'm getting a page that says 500 internal server error when i go to the login/password page

What was the last thing you did before this happened?

Usually, a 500 error of this sort means you aren't connecting to the database...

the last thing i did was upload the reset2.php file into the ndxzstudio folder

That would not cause the entire site to go down - you must have done something else by accident. Do you have a backup of your site.

No backup, it is still in early development. Do I need to start from scratch again?

Maybe. I think you might have changed your database login/password. If not, not sure what has happened here...

I very rarely recommend that people reinstall, but this seems rather severe.
