Indexhibit Support

Hello, i bought Indexhibit today. I try to install indexhibit on my database ovh.
I use Filezilla
The host is OVH (Apache; PHP 5.4.23; MySQL 5.1)
I use firefox 6.0.1

I have downloaded "files", "ndxzsite", "ndxzstudio", "htaccess","index.php" in the WWW folder.
I have modified the permissions for 755 (i tried 777 too...) these files:

files
files/gimgs
files/dimgs
site/config
site/cache

I tried to change "htaccess" for ".htaccess", i have added these lines in ".htaccess" :

SetEnv REGISTER_GLOBALS 0
SetEnv MAGIC_QUOTES 0
SetEnv PHP_VER 5

Then i have put ".htaccess" in the WWW folder.

(i tried without all these modifications too...)

Then i wrote:

nicolassant.com/ndxz-studio/… :
Not Found The requested URL /ndxz-studio/install.php was not found on this server.

so i tried :
nicolassant.com/… :
Not Found The requested URL /ndxz-studio/install.php was not found on this server.

So i called ovh support, and he said that there is no hosting problem. The database exists but it still empty.

PLEASE WHAT IS WRONG ?

Where are the files? Until we can see the files it's not an Indexhibit issue.

Your host can help you find them?

And, Firefox 6? They are on something like v27 these days - you should upgrade that (but it's not the problem here).

Should i change the htaccess file or not ?

Delete the .htaccess file for the moment...see what happens.

OVH says that i have to put my files in the WWW file. I did that before with the cms Wordpress, and it worked well. Now i want to change Wordpress for Indexhibit but it doesn't work.

Sure. But, the problem is that even if I view the root of your site I get a not found error. That doesn't make any sense. OVH has nothing to say about that?

I called ovh a few minutes ago. they just say that i have to rename the root file for "www" and not "WWW"; i try...

i changed the name for www.

why would you change the name? that's probably the problem because it's clear that it can't be found.

this is not an indexhibit problem at this moment because we can't see any files on your server.
