Auto resize pitures in Horizontal (and index background to)

Hey everyone!

I've seen a post about my question but unfortunately for the old version...

How can I auto resize my pictures to my screen in horizontal mode?

I use a Macbook pro 13" and an iMac 27" and when i'm on my MBP i have to scroll down to completely see my pics.

Can someone help me?
