Hi there, I wanted to have thumbnail pictures of my projects on the homepage please. I searched and tried change Visual Index set as the exhibition format and Section set as Media Source etc etc. It's still not working :( Could you please help me out. My site is: chihe.co.uk

Thank you very much!

Set it to 'all' instead of 'section' and see if that helps.

Still not working. It always end up one of the section becomes the homepage.

How can that be? It still looks the same to me...

Also, every thing you have posted is a 'section' - and this can be problematic sometimes. It's usually better to make them just exhibits (in their appropriate sections).

So please what would you suggest me to do now in order to make thumbnails on the homepage?

Wait, you inserted all of your images manually?

For thumbnails to appear you need to use the built-in uploader.

Yes, I did.
So do I have to do it all over again? :(

How is our system supposed to make thumbnails that don't exist on your server? Yes, you need to use the uploader...

okay. I see. But it keeps saying: file is too big when I upload it. What is the allowance?

Default is 200kb (and we've posted the logic behind this many times around the forum in the past). You can change this limit to whatever you want via the /ndxzsite/config/options.php (use your code editor to do this). But remember, the more you increase that value the more you are hoping that your shared hosting account has the power to resize images (that is where the limitation comes in - it's not an Indexhibit limitation but a hosting limitation).

Okay. I tried to upload 2 images using the uploader. I couldn't see the images once I uploaded and now I couldn't even delete them. They are here: chihe.co.uk/index.php/letsfacebark/

As I mentioned previously, it appears that all of your exhibits are sections (and that's not really what you want to do). You will need to set your media source to 'exhibit' - on section pages it's 'section' by default.
