All website info erased

abarem / 2014-08-04 22:02:26

Hi,
my entire website has been erased including all the painstaking htm input to place images etc. and all the text.
I'm getting this now, even though the website was working perfectly a week ago, and I haven't changed anything since.
I just bought the new version in order to be able to post here.
Please help!
Thank you,
Alisa

Indexhibit doesn't have any commands to delete your database. Did you delete it by accident via your hosting control panel? Or, perhaps your database login/password were changed?

I'm happy to take a look for your to see what's up - send me your FTP and hosting panel login at:

The info was there...

What happened is that one table in your database went corrupt. It happens. Which is why you should make sure you backup your site and your database occasionally (your host provides tools for that).

I had to manually recreate the table and input the info as best as I could but you may need to make any adjustments (in the Settings section).

But, there is no work on the site...is that normal? There is nothing else in the database...

Or perhaps it's all in the Select Works section - I hope so...

Hi Vaska, thank you! It's back. But now I can't sign into my ndxz-studio site for some reason.
Where could I make the backup in Servage? or ndxz-studio?
Thanks!

Yes, I sent you an email about that - you didn't receive it?

Yes, database backup is in the Servage panel. And, backup the files themselves to your computer (but I think they might have a thing for that too). Just look around...

No, I didn't receive an email.
Thank you for the advice!
