HELP! :( malformed header from script

blauerhase / 2014-08-08 16:12:18

I've just upgraded to 2.x and my website (blauerhase.com) is not working anymore. This is the error message:

malformed header from script. Bad header=Not Found: index.php

What should I do? I thought I did everything right

Are you missing the root index.php file?

blauerhase / 2014-08-08 16:44:18

no, the file is there, that's why it's strange...
(a 5k file, not 0k)

I think you have a damaged file somewhere in the system. You are able to login to the studio, just fine?

Are you sure your root index.php is for the new version and not the old? Test that by uploading the new one...

blauerhase / 2014-08-08 17:05:36

yes, I can login to the studio.
I've just give it a try uploading again the new index.php but nothing changed
(thanks for answering so fast btw!)

maybe it's normal and I'm saying something stupid but the "main" section is marked green

hmmm, this sounds really odd. Can you send me your ftp and studio login and I'll take a look...

It's fixed. I'm surprised your site was working before you upgraded (or was it?). In a rather old version of Indexhibit you could delete the main page accidentally which would crash your site - you had this problem as well.

So, when you upgraded you didn't have any kind of home page. Luckily, with v2 you can assign any page (like newest work) to be the home page and it was quickly resolved.

However, you still didn't have your 'main' section because the real main page was missing. I created this manually in the database. Now, you need to edit those things in the main section of your site...do with them as you need...

I uploaded an image just fine. It's a quirk that has gone back and forth on browsers but try clicking to the very right edge of the upload button and I bet it works.

Oh yeah, another thing, you need to visit each exhibit via the studio to regenerate your images...

actually I was editing the main page right before the upgrade, so it is possible I did something wrong there...

thank you again! :)
