re-install / delete old content? / domain already registered

Hi,
After some features seem missing, I decide to reinstall all. alexandrabircken.com
What is the procedure? I guess I need to delete old content before?

I followed all the steps, but then failed here:

- Go to the installation page via your web browser.
yourdomain.com/ndxzstudio/…
Replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name.

It says the domain is already registered..so how can i register / reinstall?

Thank you for your help!

Your domain is just fine. Just follow the installation instructions...

We don't handle domains - your webhost or domain registrar does.

Okay, now something happened and I have no idea what, but I ended up at the next step am on the Install page. However, it tells me:

XX check config

What part of my details is incorrect?
Is ist the database server address: local host?

I spend hours on the phone to my webhost and they say all is fine on their end.

Thanks for your continued support.

How did you install it the first time? Did you make a new database (you don't have to)? If it was installed before, and you are reinstalling, you probably need to change the database prefix.

I don't know how it was installed, I just got into this a few days ago. It was originally installed a long time ago. Anyways, I am using the same database provided by my web host.

What's the database prefix?

It's only asking me for this:

Site Name
User Name
User Last Name
Email Address

Database Server Address
Database Name
Database Username
Database Password
Database Append

Thank you thank you!

Oh wow, that's amazing. I juts emailed you all details from another email: karl.kolbitz@gmail.com

So you are installing the prefix-thingy and then all is ready for me to start uploading content, right?

Thank youuu!
