You can use iframe tags to embed Visual LightBox galleries.

For example:

...

The bit in the middle is the html code Visual LightBox generates that you upload to a designated folder on your site - ie from to .

You can view my example in full, including the page source, here:

...or you can build a plugin that does just that! ;-)
Please do not double post - read the forum rules... Cheers.

Sorry about the treble posting - had no idea that was happening, of course! And have no idea how to build a plugin, either!

Good news about embedding Visual LightBox though?

No not really - hadn't done anything related to this...
If building a plugin is hard I suggest looking around for Shadowbox

hey, I've done as the initial instructions say.
Put the code in as such

though for some reason /ndxz-studio/ is being added to the beginning of my url

I get a message like this:

Not Found

The requested URL /ndxz-studio/www.showdome.org was not found on this server.

Any suggestions

I managed to get rid of the double side scrollbar (or at least hide one of them) when using the iframed plugin.

  1. In the css style I added overflow:hidden;
  2. #content .container { padding: 0; overflow:hidden; }
  3. and
  4. In the iframer function I added +19 to the frame_x and frame_y variables like so:
  5. // get width of #content
  6.     frame_x = $('#content').width()+19;
  7.     // get height of #menu
  8.     frame_y = $('#menu').height()+19;
  9. Would love to hear if this works for other people.
  10. Tested on Firefox and Safari not on IE.

Hello one and all,

I recently deleted an exhibit from my website due to google displaying the old name of said exhibit.

I reinserted the iframe code back into the exhibit text area. Now when I view the page, I have some very unusual browser behavior. The right hand scroll bar jumps all over the place leaving the website looking messy.

I have dug deep into the forums, but can't find the answer to fix it.

Here's the page in question - http://www.jonathanwinstone.co.uk/index.html/index.php?/blog/ - Resize your browser to see the questioned problem.

Thanks very much in advance. Jonathan.

Hello,

I have been using the iframed plugin to display a customised Posterous blog as a kind of news page on my website. It suddenly stopped working, and Safari reports that the problem is to do with x-frame-options that are preventing the Posterous page being embedded.

I was wondering if anyone had found a way around this, or an alternative method of embedding a Posterous site.

My site page: My Site
Content page: Content page

Thanks in advance for your help.
