iframed question

I'm having a similar problem with iframed as others - the moment I add anything into the exhibit except for the plugin div, I get scroll bars both on the side and bottom. Even if I add a single letter!

I love this plugin, but was hoping that I could add text in to the exhibit so that there is font consistency throughout.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Eh? When you use the iframed plugin you should have nothing else in the textarea. Nothing. I even recommend turning of page processing to take out the p tags (although the plugin does try to remove them).

Does that help?

Oh, I see. Hmm. I guess I need to figure out another way to do what I'm trying to do then... Thanks!

You can insert Flash into your pages. But you need to set the height and width manually once they are uploaded. In the next version it will know the height and width on it's own.

I don't know flash, and the viewer that I'm using (photofolio) as a flash movie that also has external folders of images that it refers to. Since the file manager wouldn't allow me to upload folders, I figured it wouldn't work because the file structure would be broken.

Yes, that's probably the case. You could...try...turning off page processing and manually placing the iframe into the page with a width and height at exactly what you need. You're then responsible for the other necessary parts on the page too...the html...but it still possible.

Page processing adds p and br tags where necessary. If you turn that off, you can then add straight up html however you want things to be.

i'm having scroll bar issues with iframed aswell. i haven't been able to lose the horizontal scroll bar, although i'm not losing too much sleep over that. the main problem is that i have lost my vertical scroll bar, rendering it impossible to read or access anything on the blog which is below the bottom of the screen.

i know its mentioned that there may be issues with iframed if the css is heavily edited. mine is certainly edited but i wouldn't say heavily.
