Hello,

I have finished installing indexhibit and am having trouble logging in to begin designing my site.

The login: index1
and
The password: exhibit
are not working.

In addition, I have tried the password recovery script, deleted the reset.php and received the "Looks OK" page. Even then I could not login.

Stumped!

Thanks in advance.

I'm not really sure about what's going on there...but something is really not right...you don't have have a front page to your site. I'd scrap the whole thing and start over...there are re-installation instrutions in the Useful Threads post.

Eh? Then something is really really wrong there. You were never installed in the first place.

Hello everyone
I have done all the instalation as it says on the webpage, it all went well and was already starting to work on my page with indexhibit, then suddenly my safari collapsed and since then Ive been going a bit crazy trying to log back onto my page. I had already changed the login and the password (The login: index1 and The password: exhibit) to a personal one....but it doesn't seem to work. I even tried downloading the password recovery script which said "looks ok".
My webpage just in case is: www.flacomen.com
Its been three days and I cant get back in it.
Please help
thanks very much

I just logged in to your site...the reset script sets things back to 'index1/exhibit'.

If you can't login...do a shift + refresh to update the page. Maybe, your browser is simply bunched up because of the crash.

Once you are logged in you can try changing your login info again (letters and numbers only - not too long either). Then delete that reset script.

Thanks Vaska for answering
I have tried restarting the computer, refreshing the page, and all other ways, and nothing really changes. Maybe I am writting down wrongly my login and password (although I did write on a paper the details when I changed the password and login), if there is anyway you could send me that info through email would be great.
Also a even more basic question. To log in to my page, (because I dont see any other way of getting to the point where it askes me my login and password) I go to, Online Demo, then press Log out and then I get to the starting point....is this correct, or there is a better way?
thanks very much

Login: index1
Password: exhibit

If I can login you can login...this is not hard. There is nothing more I can do here...it is already working.

Im really sorry Vaska, Ive tried everything and it just says over and over "Your password or login are incorrect. Try again. " I am writting the login and password as you say, and it just tells me over and over the same.
Maybe I am trying to log in through the wrong way, where do I log in?
I know its terribly easy, but I've been through all the web and no results.
thanks for your patience

ps: Im using Safari, but also trying through Firefox with no diference.x

For future reference, sometimes when you copy-paste passwords you can grab a space by mistake, and it can give you an error.

I've read all of the threads and this is my third time trying to reinstall and I keep getting stuck at the log-in. I've tried the index1/exhibit and shift + refresh but to no avail - when I tried the recovery script, I too get the "Looks Ok". I've have not been using copy-paste for the user/password either so I'm really lost on what to do. Can you please help? Thank you.

I have forgotten my login information for editing my website, www.kristinmueller.net.

I found one instruction page that said to place a reset.php file in my folders, but could not find this file anywhere.

I also tried a "forgot my password" link, which stated it sent me a password reset e-mail when I submitted my e-mail, but I never got an e-mail.

If you could help I would very much appreciate it. Thank you.

hi, after hours of trawling various threads and forums i thought it is about time to ask for some advice.
I have had the same problem when following the password recovery script- I get the message 'looks ok'with no option to enter the default username & password. My website is running fine, just cant bloody log on to edit it and is becoming increasingly frustrating. hope someone can help!

thanks

Hi,

I have a problem with login in - After registration I correctly try to login with index1/exhibit, but then Im told my password or login are incorrect..

I belive I have registrated years ago, but cant remember my password from then - is that the root of my problem?

Can my old password be retrieved?

hi,

i have the same problem as all the others here - brendan, flaka, etc. after installing i was given a default log in and i submitted my database server, database name, database username and d. password. deleted php file too.

since then i had the option once or twice to log in on your website (i think) though couldnt log in. no idea how to find that log in location again and the defaut didnt work anyway. tried using the username i inputted for the database submission, but they are longer than the max character length of 12.

tried resetting and also get "looks ok". am i meant to edit directly from my site? "Edit this page." is not a hyperlink.
here is my link: markschreiber.org

thanks for a great service!

Any ideas? Seems like evryone else had it self correct? But nothing is working for me.
