Hello to all and a massive thanks to vaska and all indexhibit peoples!

I had a very limited knowledge of css and html and all those things before I started making this site and thanks to the indexhibit forum I've become quite knowledgeable if I do say so myself.
(although I'm still not sure exactly what a div is... hmmm)

Anyway the finished section of the site is here.
I say section because I have set up a couple of databases on our domain to host more than one indexhibit. The other contributors haven't finished their sections yet. Alternatively the home page is www.moon-unit.org (the iframe is giving me trouble, but thats not for this space as it's nothing to do with indexhibit.)

Any thoughts or comments on how I could improve the navigation or design of the site would be really appreciated. I am especially conflicted as to wether or not I keep the black behind the images on hover!?

Thanks again to indexhibit!

Carla, did you take a look to the website with firefox? when I hover any link the text remains dark and is no longer readable with the black background.
Another issue is that with "small screens" the menu ends out of it i.e. I barely can read "contact", but whatever follows after is invisible. And no scrollbar...

Hello,

I think you want this all-black blocks on "menu hover"… No?
Like it in all cases… ;)
Cool and clean design in fact.

Agree with RickyKappa on the text links, I would prefer to read them on hover. And I would think about leaving a little more breathing space between the menu and the content. Other than that, fresh and clean!

I prefer it as is.
Just apply to your #menu a position: absolute; so it can scroll along with the page.

Thank you everyone.
Yep, I intentionally have the black box on hover. It may be unconventional and I know not everyone will like it, but its my favorite part of the site design.

Re: menu scrolling, I changed the position of the menu to absolute, I must have missed that when checking on laptops and smaller screens - thanks!
