I tried the search, but could not find an initial setup guide for implementing a favicon. I am using the sample template. Where do I have to upload the icon to and do I need to insert extra code somewhere?

Good place to start. I did this only last week.
hm, well...i put my favicon into my root folder (on the same level as the ndxz folder and pasted the following code snippet into the index.php which lies in the sample folder...(of course i replaced favicon.co.uk with my domain)...but it still doesnt load...
ndxz-studio/site/sample or whatever your name is.
Sounds right hit refresh a few times should come up.
If you post a link we could test it for you...as well.
