I am using IE8 (last version) and I notice that the thickbox option doesn't work properly. The page doesn't become white/semi-transparent as it does on firefox, Google and Safari so when you have a lot of thumbs the vision it's not good and it's hard to see next and prev buttons.
I have read some threads about this issue but the all talk about IE 6 & 7 versions, and the code is a bit confusing.
My questions:
1) I there any fix code for IE8 that works on Indexhibit v0.70e that will fix the Thickbox issues
2) where and how to fix it.

First time I've heard of it not working on IE8. Normally when it doesn't work it's because you have some bad code somewhere on the page. Validate your pages and see what kind of errors you get.
