i think im nearly done with my site. just testing to check if everyone sees it alright across most browsers. as far as i can tell it looks ok in firefox and safari, and occasionally in internet explorer the whole menu seems to open and close in a flash of a second when i pick an exhibit, before settling, not sure why this is .. do you see this as well?
any comments welcome. this is my first time building a site with the brilliant indexhibit!

I can't close the menu sections with a click (pc + firefox), so I had a look to your code and seen something that might be fixed.
You're using expandingmenu.js, which is correctly called as an external file, so there's no need to repeat the script in the page body.
Also I don't see the usual
setTimeout('move_up()', 1);
expandingMenu(0);
expandingMenu(1);
expandingMenu(2);
...

thanks for your feedback. which bit exactly is repeated in my scrpit?
to be honest i cant quite remember what i did to get the expandable menus to work anymore, there was a lot of cutting and pasting and trying all these scripts in the forum threads. i also dont know what happened to the setTimeout etc etc. hmm, im a bit clueless today. ; )

@ed - I guess you typed the script in the index.php, which is redundant...
I'd suggest to go back to the expandingMenu instructions (you can surely find it if you use the search box) and you'll easily fix it
