Why does it take so long to design pages with minimal content? :/

After months under the hood mostly tinkering with the tiniest bit of css detail I have decided to let it run as is.

Would be quite happy to hear your thoughts.

All the best.

The splash page is fabulous!
I was a bit dissapointed seeing the indexhibit part of the site after having that experience.

Take out the spacer in the menu! The vertical scroll bar in the menu is really annoying and taking up less space vertically is important in your case!

I would consider merging all the photo sections into one. I also found it confusing that I didn't find the same categories as on the splash page.

Instead of the welcome message I'd like to read the About page on the home page. I wanna know what it's about, this is not a hotel reception...

I can't stand the comment form, too much 3rd-party involvement I'd say. If I wanna leave a comment I wanna leave it on your site or send it directly to your email. Because spam is hardly avoidable I'd be happy if I only had the second option... So just a plain ol' php mail contact form would be great!

The blog doesn't really show up in the frame like intended I think, is it an iframe? Maybe I can help you lign it up a bit more like this: lindenlion.net/remedialbreathing.com (an iframe on my site)

You can always ask people if you can put their comments up on your website anyway.

Portfolio doesn't give me the idea that it is referring to the splash page... maybe that is actually what should be called the home page? And what is now home, should be merged with About?

At the top in the root menu have these three links:
Home (->splash)
About (->about)
Services (->services)

Then have some section(s) with photo exhibitions)
...

Then have in a footer menu (title hidden) these three links:
Copyright (->copyright)
Blog (->blog)
Contact (->contact form)

Then have the facebook button and the indexhibit notice.

I would like that much more :-)

Cheers, Michael

Cheers Michael. It is really interesting getting such comments form a set of 'fresh eyes'. The interesting part is you mention some points I have been contemplating over. Especially the photos in one section. I agree with you on the comment form too. The only reason I had that there is because I have always had problems coding comment forms. I would be quite happy with a php minimal form but don't really know how to do it. This it what I love about indexhibit and the community. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Hi Peter,
I really do like your splash page, that looks great, very smooth and elegant.

I just deleted my whole text I wrote because I'm quite far away from this, that's why I don't want to criticize... But I agree with thinkround that the difference between splash page and indexhibit page is quite rough. Maybe there is a way to get this more consistent?

But nevermind, you did a great job, I like it!

Yeah I know what you mean verena. I'm thinking of just seperating the two and having indexhibit as my personal experimental space or something of the likes and the splash age my business opener.Thanks for writing.
