How do I go about installing the Horizontal Exhibition Format and centering the images?

Like so.... EXAMPLE

**Also, is it at all possible to apply the Horizontal Exhibition Format only to certain pages, and not others? (i.e. Main page w/ the "standard indexhibit format", Photo page w/ the Horizontal Exhibition Format, etc..)**

I know it has been asked a few times, and that is what I have been referencing as well I watching the video. But I know I am missing something.

Thread #1
Thread #2

What I have done thus far..

-Downloaded the Horizontal Exhibition Format
-I then uploaded the plug in to my server and into the Plug In folder --
ndxz-studio > site > plugin
-I changed the Exhibition Format in the Exhibition Edit window
-Saved, and went to view my site and still no changes.

P.S. and yes, I have also seen this thread as well.

as for the 2nd thread I listed in the first post...the code that he listed, where would you put that code in? assuming first that the Horizontal Exhibition Format was applied and working.

Do you have a page with more than one image? It might then be easier to see what's going wrong.

No, not yet. I haven't created the different pages yet, should I?

Hmm, I might be missing something here, but how do you know the horizontal exhibtion format doesn't work if you haven't created an exhibit with more than one image?

Don't understand what you mean by "centering". Centered vertically in the browser window? Personally, I think that's kind of ugly because you have all different browser heights - on a big monitor that would be quite odd.

And show us a link to the page you are working on specifically where this is happening.

A: I changed the Exhibition Format in the Exhibition Edit window

It's convenient when people answer their own questions around here. ;)

I'm sorry, and I understand what your saying. Last night I did have to images on the page that shows, but the second image was underneath the image that is currently displaying?

How I have been going about inserting images
and perhaps I am doing it the wrong way, let me know..

-I'm in the Edit > Main screen, and in the box I have this code.

Why are you inputting your images via the Files Manager. This is what the Exhibit Images are for...underneath the text space...

The Files Manager is for...other files...and the occasional logo or whatnot.

Vaska, When I say centered I mean something in the likes of this guy's page ..I'm guessing he has the horizontal format, right? but then the images also seem centered, am I delusional?

Check his CSS, it's right there in plain view. However, I'm not sure this really works in all browsers...but you should check all of that out.

Yup. I hit view source in my browser and I'm staring at it 1 second later.

He explained how he did the centering in the 'thread 2' you linked to... though I think you could probably do the same by editing your main css file, rather than the plugin...

To get the images flowing horizontally, use indexhibit's image uploader (the 'choose file' and 'upload' buttons in your screenshot)...

@Vaska When I said that I changed the Exhibition Format, I meant that I changed it to the Horizontal format as it was stated to do so in one of the threads. Also, thanks for the View source tip -I'lll try that

@Richard Thanks, will do that from here on out.
