Hi i have been searching all over the place for any info on specifying the distance between images when using the horizontal plugin, but not having much luck.

I would like to specify the distance and i can not find anywhere in the css to do this (my skills are pretty limited..) do i edite the horizontal plugin .css file?

here is an example of the horizontal scroll with nice small gap between images: image width example

and here is my site im am currently working on: frankandproper.com

thanks for any help.

It's a variable in the file...just change it...

  1. var $picture_block_padding_right = 50;

it's a variable in the file

...meaning it's in the plugin. Open it, find it and change it... :-)

aaah, yes so i directly edit the plugin, sorry every time i opened the plugin it opened in the design tab and was a different view that i was used too, but realised i can select the code tab, now its looking better.

Thanks,

sorry you guys have to deal with us spastic coders, this is great though, you have to take your simple victories!

I've found it useful to save the plugin several times with different padding amounts... these can then be selected from indexhibit's dropdown menu... e.g. exhibit.horizontal10.php, exhibit.horizontal20.php, exhibit.horizontal30.php etc... useful for testing, anyway...
