i've installed the default indexhibit web site
but i want it to look like this:

could someone explain me step-by-step
what shoud i do in order to have
full browser random background image
and menus on the left like this?

i've tried a lot searching the forum and
pasting codes and plugins etc etc but all
i did in the end is to end up with a blank
page.

if anyone had done it i would really appreciate
the help. thanks.

should i install Random Background Plugin
for a start, or is it a complete different procedure
for full-browser-random-background-image?

Μπορούμε αλλά για το καλό του φόρουμ το αποφεύγω - το φόρουμ είναι εργαλείο για όλους αλλά αν δεν νομίζεις ότι τα δεν καταφέρνεις με τα αγγλικά τότε...
Επίσης κέντρο εδώ... ;-)

You can check the full-browser background plugin thread just by searching the forum...
Anyhow this is the actual link - make sure you read the DO_ME_FIRST.html. It's got a step-by-step installation guide and other general info you might need...

There's a random full-browser background plugin as well -you might want to check that.
Just use the search box to track it down...

το διάβασα και το ξαναδιάβασα το thread που λες αλλά κατέληξα
με τις αλλαγές στον κώδικα να βρεθώ με λευκή οθόνη και να κάνω
αναγκαστικά επανεγκατάσταση.

Re-read the DO_ME_FIRST.html file in the download...
You can't go wrong... At least try it and then you can ask for help here if something goes wrong.

I'm not sure you can have both but you can try... There's a Random Exhibits plugin that does something similar...

And by the way there's no need to reinstall when you break your page - work on a copy of your Sample theme.
If you completely break it then revert to original theme and delete the broken theme and go through this proccess from the begining...

inside eatock i only get ie.css and style.css
and inside the index.php file of sample i
get     ‚Ä¢    Built with Indexhibit

Work on the sample theme - Eatock is the default and not meant to be changed.

You have to switch to the code view in Dreamweaver to see your code...
And ...avoid Dreamweaver - check out this post for more info.

I suggest to check out the two red links in the Useful threads post to get you started...

You got your code mixed up (full browser background & random background) - get one thing right at a time...

i get on the upper left corner

...something you added in you index.php after #wrapper...
I can't tell - propably you got some code wrong...

ok, i uploaded the original style.css and now i don't get that.
now, i deleted this: background-color: #fff from style.css
but still i don't get my image on the background of the menu
on the left.
