I have just recently created my indexhibit site

I had a problem straight away where my site only appeared with this url:

http://www.amostyndesign.com/indexhibitv070e/

but not as just plain old http://www.amostyndesign.com which instead shows this instead:

Index of /

cgi-bin/
indexhibitv070e/

Kindly Vaska suggested it was because i had uploaded the indexhibit folder instead of uploaded individual indexhibit files needed which was the case!

so i deleted the whole folder and started again, this time with just the files, changed the permissions and deleted the install page and now:

when i go to my site it says:

database is not installed?

help!

Yes, because you deleted your database connection...which is why I said just move your files instead of deleting them.

You can start over...or you can manually recreate the database connection file (if you know how).

ok sorry - i have messed this up a treat

do you mean make a new mySQL database? i know how to do that :)
