Hi!

So, I've recently completed my new website using indexhibit, with some customization etc. and your thoughts are much welcome!

link: Website

I've kinda further developed a customized galleriffic plugin, using the data from this thread, managing to add Captions, proportional thumbs and history support (more options can be set On or Off).

trying to figure out though:

1. How to get the thumbnails to have the low opacity on LOAD (as they are intended to be according to Galleriffic)?

2. How to get the opacityrollover.js to work properly for nice thumbs rollover effect?

Any ideas anyone?

I'm off course willing to share this plugin with anyone interested once I get this sorted.

have a look and tia.

hi angus - imho it's a good work overall, both photos and website are clean and professional looking (btw I've seen something familiar in the tearsheet section, isn't it? ;-)

oh, it's just the horizontal plugin from the download area, with a simpler variation of thehorizontalway js script.

Angusrs, how did you get the galleriffic plugin to work I'm confused on what I need to do. I download the plug and all it does is mess with the images. Am I still supposed to do what the galleriffic website says you have to do?

@pironio
To my understanding, it doesn't work like that.

There needs to be a plugin (.php) written in order to integrate the galleriffic script with Indexhibit. Did you read the thread I was talking about? Saara has written such a plugin to his own needs and was gracious enough to share it. I just made it more functional to my own needs. Go try it.

yeah I tried it but it did nothing but put my images in a row down the page. Thats the question I was having. What else do I need to do to make it work?

well given you've installed all the right .js files mentioned on the galleriffic website, i think the rest is just css.

Angusrs, nice work.

How did you make your menu bar?

I was trying to make a similiar menu bar, but i can't remove the section title. If i close the section title, then the sublink doesn't function anymore, any suggestions?

thanks

What's your site?
What do you mean - an horizontal menu? There are threads about that here, even a theme.

What you see on my site has nothing to do with the Indexhibit menu!
it's a Filter.

hi Aagusrs,

This is my tem-siteWebpage,

for example, if you click "Cotact", i want it links to my contact page directly, not via the sub menu.

There is a thread about 'section in section', I tried that, then the link doesn't work. please click the last second menu "what is it?", maybe you will know what i am talking about.

may I ask which filter did you use for your menu? thanks.

Hi angusrs, your site looks very polished, there is really nothing I would change, very clean/modern, congatulations, you work is right on the mark as well!

I was also wondering how you implemented the filter? are you using the visual index plugin somehow? any tips or a point in the right direction would be great!

thanks!!!! Aagusrs. I had quick look with the link, now I understand why you said what i saw in your site has nothing to do with the Indexhibit menu.

Another question, how did you implement this source into Indexhibit? or it's not? Sorry, my knowledge with web develop is limited :)
