Indexhibit Support

I am looking into shadowbox as an option to display flash video on my site, can someone help me get started on this, I am a bit lost.

You should :
-upload shadowbox.js in the ndxz-studio/site/js folder
-put the link to the .js in the header of index.php in your template folder like :

<%basename%>
/site/js/jquery1.1.4.pack.js'>
</script>


-upload your flash video
-write a link to your video :

? I have it on the exhibits page and the link just brings me back to the home page.

Only if they have created it...it doesn't exist for the current version of Indexhibit.

I can't send you my plugin...because you don't have the unreleased version of Indexhibit...it won't work for you.

So best thing to do would be wait until the new version is released?

Hey everyone, I wanted to add shadowbox to my site as well. I've also seen it used before in other indexhibit sites, and it looks amazing.
Since i was confused about where to place what on my server i ended up following these instructions from a previous post:

sad part is that is doesn't seem to work for me. I created an image link but once i click on it it shows me the image in a new/empty/white page. It doesn't give me the shadowbox effect. My url: www.extrafunk.com

Can anyone help me with this? It would be much appreciated!

Well a couple months have gone by since the last post about this. Is it possible to use Shadowbox to display videos yet? I'm in the beginning of working on the site and it'd be great to set this up if it's possible...

also curious if this is out yet? I think what I'm trying to do would be vastly easier in shadowbox

Currently I'm trying to use Thickbox to link a quicktime. After looking on the thickbox forum - seems like the key was to put a quicktime file in an html file - and then link up to the html file. ripped code from here
This worked! however! Because I'm trying to direct a link to open the thickbox with an .mov - I *think* it's reading the thickbox plugin twice? Once in my code, once as I've selected Thickbox on the right drop-down.

So i guess no one has figured out how to do the shadowbox effect. It bugs me because people have done it before, so you know that it is possible.

It kind of bugs me when people come in here and talk about how this kind of thing bugs them.

Just do it...try. Really.
