Hi!

I noticed that the Title for exhibit item does not allow certain characters (&, +) or HTML entities.

I'm building a site where many pages need to have "&" in the title, so this has become a problem.

Any way around this, or quick fix?

This is sort of a bug...and I don't have time to look at this now (I'm adding it to the bug list again).

No promise, I'm filled up with deadlines this week, if I have a chance I'll look at this one.

Ok, if you can point me in the direction of the relevant PHP-file, maybe I can try to make a quick fix myself? (would also need to remove the lenght limitation...)

I looked into this a little bit...what's going on is that the plugin we use to deal with the inplace editor is removing the characters. The plugin is packed and I really don't have time to debug this...and then make adjustments to the backend to deal with this as well. Not in the near future...sorry about that.
