Fatal Error for Referrers

It used to be fine since I installed indexhibit, but one day something broke and when I click on "referrers" in Statistics I get this error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2097152 bytes) in /home/content/o/h/w/ohwellwhatever/html/ndxz-studio/db/db.mysql.php on line 110

It's not tremendously important for me, but I thought I should let you know.
Here's my site: http://www.bluebed.net

Thank you!

(By the way, I have a dream: when uploading an image to a gallery, a 2.0ish window lets me crop/scale it the way I want. Right now I just replace indexhibit's automatic thumbnails with my photoshopped ones, but it would be so fantastic if this feature was introduced somewhere before the end of my life!)

Sounds like you are exhausting your php memory limit.

You should be able to change this information in the .htaccess file that is most likely at the root of your ftp site..

Look into setting your php_mem_limit in .htaccess.. If this doesnt work.. contact your hosting provider and let them know you want to increase it.

Cheers,
Anthony

That's not really the problem.

Your db is simply too full - it's not the best way to store stats (something we will change someday). You will need to 'empty' your ndxz_stats table with PHPMyAdmin to get it running again...

Thank you, it worked!
It deleted all records, but oh well.

I realize that's not great but it is the solution. I'm working on something to get around this in the future...

;)

Hi I have similar problem, when I try to access my website, I get this:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 43 bytes) in /home/restricted/home/marinachaccur/public_html/ndxz-studio/common.php on line 48

How do I "empty" my ndxz_stats table? If that's the case

When I got in touch with the service provider, they said that probably Indexhibit uses many plug-ins and that makes it overloaded. Please, how can I solve this?

Thanks in advance

What a joke. Not true, unless you have written and installed a 100 plugins. Indexhibit is absolutely light on servers...your host has no clue what they are talking about.

Looks like a weak database to me...which is clearly the sign of a host that has put too many people on the same stuff. Oversold...

So... what should I do? My website is out, and I need to fix it.

When I asked them about this problem, they put this up:
http://www.marinachaccur.com/info.php

And said that from their part everything is fine.

In any case, how do I "empty" the ndxz_stats table?

But they can't do anything to see if your database is corrupt? You are 100% on your own with this host (what are you paying them for)?

Get a new host...what a bunch of crap. There could still very much be a problem with the database beyond showing an information page.

Deleting things from the database is not going to help. I can't believe there are hosts out there who diagnose problems this way...

Yeah, it's a mess right now. They changed the server and now it's not working at all. Already complaining and waiting for an answer. In any case, thanks

I did an IP trace on your site earlier today and it could not even find the server.

Whatever you do...do not delete your database...back it up now. Back up your site as well. Just in case this gets even worse...

Just did my backup.
Fyi, the host is called Locaweb http://www.locaweb.com.br/default.html it's a big one in Brazil. I guess they realized they screwed something and decided to change the server, now I'm in the dark and will probably have to reinstall Indexhibit.

Let's hope so - I've seen that many times before. With the trace issues I saw, there is clearly something wrong. Give them some time to sort it out...

Hi Vaska, it's sorted for a few days now, but the stats are not working properly. For instance: everyday I have the number 1 as refers and unique visitors, but when I g tho refers I have obviously more than 1 per day. So, is this the part where I should "empty" the ndxz_stats table? How do I do that?
Thanks again.
