Dear all,

I'm a simple designer - know hardly anything about web development - but came across this and i LOVE the simplicity of the format, and want to set up my website in this format.

I have dreamweaver (which i dont know how to use very well), and a domain name and a hosting - thats all! and a friend helped me put up a holding page until i set up my complete site.

And I'm on a mac - but i dont know any of these requirements you've suggested:

Apache server
PHP4+
MySQL 3.23+
FTP application

What are these? Does everyone who set their sites through indexhibit know all about these programs?

I feel a little dumb now - cause I really want to set my site up!

these requirements are for the server that your hosting uses, not your computer. You have to check that they meet those requirements.

You will also need an ftp application- we reccomend cyberduck for mac, which is free.
