Hello... I added a password to protect my site via my host and recently removed it. When I did so now only the landing page works and every menu item now gives me a Not Found 404 error... the host couldn't help me and I couldn't find it in their forum nor yours thoughts? I would love to have this fixed by Wednesday. A bit panicked.. oh and my link is this

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do this via the rules but it explains it better then I can. It seems I have the same problem as this guy only I removed my password and he added one. And of course I'm using indexhibit and not wordpress. http://discussion.dreamhost.com/thread-60498.html
Try disabling your clean url's.
See if this brings it back to life.
That doesn't make much sense to me... why would I do that? Shouldn't I be trying to figure out how to relink my directories? And wouldn't that have to do with the removal of the code implanted by host? Forgive my doubtfulness but I don't want to mess it up more then it is.

Your server needs to have a server (Apache) technology called "mod_rewrite" properly setup and enabled for your account. If you have any question whether you have this or not you should ask your webshot. Or, you might simply try to the following instructions to see if clean url's will work on your site.
So maybe I'm right, maybe you're right.
...maybe it would be better to wait for someone else to respond.
Oh thank god it worked apparently my server doesn't support clean urls anyway so it was useless anyway. Thanks!
