Hello,
I have an unusual issue after installing Indexhibit. Actually all went well until the log in step.
I got the error message "Database is not installed", so I contacted my webhost and they said everything is fine about the database.
But as I insisted they did the installation again with me and it happened that there is a coding error in Idexhibit, so I can't log or view any page of my website. The technician who helped me told me there is a code issue (le chemin est mal spécifié donc impossible de le trouver), so I can't do anything about it.

oui je me connecte et je travaille sans problème.
Comme j'ai expliqué, le technicien de mon hébergeur (mm100.net) m'a spécifié que le problème venait du code Indexhibit (le chemin est mal spécifié). Malheureusement il ne m'a pas donné plus de détail (il a déjà fait l'installation avec moi et il n'y était pas obligé).

Est-ce qu'il y a une solution ?

I still got the problem.
I can connect to Indexhibit interface (http://www.youliasproject.fr/ndxz-studio/) and work on my site but there is still this message "Database is not installed" on my homepage.
I am not an expert on coding, so when I asked a technician fom my host to help me identify the problem, he did the installation with me and said there is code issue. I don't know how to explain in english, but it seems that the link is broken somewhere.

P.S. I send an e-mail to 'support@indexhibit.org', so you can contact direct me via e-mail. Maybe it will be more effective.

I can help when the language isn't switched...

When I go to /ndxz-studio/ I get your login interface but it's messed. Which leads me to believe you did not fully upload all the files.

Reupload everything but DO NOT overwrite the /ndxz-studio/config/ folder and contents. See what happens next...

I'll try, and if necessary I can select english.

Could you please send me an e-mail, I will not have access to the forum today, and it's easier.

Hi,

i had the same problem like youlia and installed the config.php again to enter the indexsite and edit it. I also deleted after entering the config.php again, but know there is following problem / message, if i want to see my site on the browser:

Page not found error here.

Now I re-uploaded everything except /ndxz-studio/config/ folder and contents, the login interface seems ok.
But I still got the same problem when I want to view my home page online ... it keep saying "Database is not installed", I'm stuck.
Vaska, I changed the language to english, maybe you can help me now. As we don't get any notifications when there is a new message, could you please contact me directly.

No, I can not contact you directly...you can use this forum. By language being switched, I meant in the forum switching from English to French.

I really don't know what the issue is with your site - never seen that happen before. I suggest starting over...and perhaps it won't work on that host.

Could you please check what happens with the Indexhibit code. Again the technician said that if the code was correct it would work. There is some kind of broken "link" that makes it impossible to find the page. I would really appreciate if you check it again.
Don't you thing it's weird I can access to the "work space" and not view the website online. The problem does not come from the host or installation.

By the way I cannot ask every host if Indexhibit will work (unless they already have a customer using it) and they usually do not know this application (unfortunately).
I really hope you can find a solution without me changing the host (it takes time and cost money).
