I like very much the idea of being able to personalize the menu like in the site posted above. Is it easy to do something similar, with a background photo and a menu with voices that appear after a clic?
No, it's not so hard...
For the menu search the forum for 'expand' to find the relevant code/threads.
For the background, you could simply add a background image to your main page or you could search the forum for 'browser background' for other approaches.

Oh, I have another small question (that's probably quite silly): how can I simply change the colour of the menu, putting it slightly on the right like in this site http://www.oliverbasch.com/ or the other one I posted before? I'd just want to change the colours and fonts of the menu and put it in a rectangle...
Hi Alessandro, You need to edit the .css, read the useful threads at the top of the forum to get started, particularly the HTML/CSS basics thread.
Another good tip, look at their style.css file for tips. Don't copy or steal...but learning how somebody did something is certainly ok.
