Hello wonderful people,

I have followed all of the installation for dummies steps and have been stuck on the "You need to go to this page of your website to continue the installation: http://www.yourwebsite.com/ndxz-studio/install.php".

I have been going to the link http://www.claire.grossheim.com/ndxz-studio/install.php; however, I am directed to a site that says my page is under construction.

I have researched other similar forum posts and have double and triple checked the problems and subsequent solutions to no avail. Any other suggestions? I am unsure of where the problem could lie.

I am using Web Hosting Buzz and Cyberduck. I have changed the permissions, the folders are in the root folder and I did not drop the entire folder, simply the contents. I have also restarted my computer.

Any ideas?

what is weird is that you have the same page in http://www.claire.grossheim.com
usually this happens because your hosting service place an index.html that should be replaced by your own homepage, but as far as I know there is no reason to find that index.html in a subdirectory (e.g./ndxz-studio/).
besides I can't find any of the system files which are usually to be found in the application.
are you sure you've uploaded everything to the online server or by any chance are you working locally?

yeah, just try to erase this index.html on your root folder.

I found two index.html... should I erase them?

I guess both of you are having problems with your hosting service - or are you sure you've changed the folder's permissions as the installation instructions say?
@claire - there are many files in the system that can be retrieved by the browser if you know the correct path... I couldn't find any of those online: either there are no files uploaded or the path I've used is incorrect...
unless my guess above is true and there are some problems in the hosting side...
@kristelmichele - 2 index.html in the same directory (folder) seems quite weird, I've never seen it and it makes no sense... however if you're afraid to erase it you can just temporarily rename it (i.e. index_1.html or whatever else you want) and see if it works.
