adding a DOM Draggable Script

Hi there, I've currently been playing around with the columner theme from here:

http://yeah.hmplus.net/

Love the theme, although I've been having issues trying to get a script similar to the one on this page working within it:

http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex11/domdrag/

Basically I'm looking to get a draggable description box on each page hovering over my images/slideshows to give a description of the content, that can be dragged around to suit where you would like to read it from.

Hope someone can help out.

Here is one of the pages I'm working with at the moment.

Thanks for reading,
Kris

What you have to remember...even inserting the code into the mix via the template, etc., may not be enough. I'm sure that it looks for a specific way the images are output with alt and titles and you may need to edit the exhibition format itself to make these things possible.

Keep us posted on how this goes. ;)

hi,
i'm trying to use dom-drag.js to add a small draggable image on my website. As Kriswilson, I'm looking to get a draggable image on each page over my content to give infos about the website, that can be dragged around.

i add dom-drag.js. i read all the info and explanations from
http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex11/domdrag/ + aaron boodman infos. But even if the image appears, it's not draggable. please can someone explain what do i need to do exactly and which file do i need to edit.

i'm using columner theme. my website www.galerieutopie.com/index.php

thanks
charlotte

Thanks - it's much appreciated.

Can you show us a page (the link) that has things in place for this draggable thing? I don't see a page that has images on it (and I'm not going to look through every page to find one).

I don't know why you have so many expandingMenu() setup. You only need 0 - 4.

The logo is inserted wrong - could possibly kill scripts from running properly...should be like this...

  1. <a href="http://www.galerieutopie.com" ><img src="/files/raleway.jpg" align="center" width='600' height='120' /></a>

I don't think you need the 'align' attribute, as well.

Perhaps you should contact the creator of the draggable script directly and ask them what's not right there.
