Hello everyone,

I have now been using this great site for some two months and can't say how helpful it all is to a person how is new to html so thanks so much!

Buuuut,,I had a pretty basic, descent side up and wanted to add the centred theme. It didn't work and so I somehow thought is was a good idea to download the whole centred theme and delete everything else. Yes, don't know what I was thinking!

It obviously didn't work and so I again deleted everything and put the old folders you but the central theme folders are still there although empty, I can't seem to be able to delete it.

Now I can not access the exhibit link or just the site itself.

my site is www.mood-architecture.be

I hope someone here can help me!
Thank you

Oh, wait...what were you thinking? Ouch...

Reupload all Indexhibit files. You will need to manually edit the /ndxz-studio/config/config.php file with the connection info to the database. Do this...then see how things are working...let us know.

Is this Sinan? Eloisa and I say hello...

I'm sorry for having to ask but I am testing and trying to place in the right information but nothing seems to work.

is there anything here that screams out wrong to you. The thing that I am very unsure about is the sql.

Thank you!

Wow that's strange, i thought i had put all the info in there.

Sorry about that :-s

Like I said earlier, i am not sure this is correctly filled in but I have gone though all the info at mysql and there really is nothing else that screams out to me.

I would very much appreciate any help!
Thank you :-)

You need to ask your host for this information if you don't know it - you can't guess it. The above is clearly wrong.

Yes, I did though manage to set it up without contacting them last time. It just confuses me that it is not the same information that is being asked for, or it is being asked in a different way. Such as the Mysql, don't remember having to look for tat anywhere. Might it perhaps just be called mysql?

But in any case, I just wanted to ask whether I should fill out the first line in the config script, specificly the SITE.

php if (!defined('SITE')) exit('No direct script access allowed'

Thank you for the help!!

No, do not touch that...sorry I didn't understand that.

Only the database connection info.

I guess the other question I could ask here...do you want to start over with your site or are you trying to save the existing database?

Problem is that you deleted your 'files' folder...and without that I think you need to start over...

O...wow, I really shot myself in the foot there.

But well if I need to start over again, then better sooner rather than later. How would I go about reinstalling everything? Could I just download everything again, and do all the same things as I did when I signed up the first time?

Yes, just redo it all over again (follow the How To Install guide). BUT, you need to go into the database and 'drop' all the tables first - this is the only way to completely start over. Your host provides a tool called PHPMyAdmin that will let you do this...

And after you are installed, do a backup. And, when you are basically done rebuilding the site...do another backup. ;)

Sorry, just one more this, should I drop all of the ones that are called ndxz? After that there is only one left in the database called iptocountry.

Thx!

Yes you need to restart from scratch - if you erase everything & start over you'll be fine.
