Hi,
I have a problem with Turkish characters. I have built 2 different web sites wit Indexhibit. www.umuttore.com and www.resif.com.tr. (they are hosted separately)

http://www.resif.com.tr is OK with Turkish characters, other (http://www.umuttore.com) does not display Turkish characters from the beginning.

Can anyone help? I'm ok with html and editing css. I checked previous entries and FAQ. Could not find a solution. Would be grateful if you can help...

You need to adjust the database for that the:

- database
- tables
- columns

All have a utf-8-general "collation". Your host provides PHPMyAdmin so you can do this.

After you do this, re-enter your characters and they should work.

Is this something I should change through logging in my database control panel, or something I can change in some file among the indexhibit folders?
I cannot get help from my webhost..

Your host provides PHPMyAdmin so you can do this - on your own. Look in the hosting control panel.

a little late reply:
unfortunately turkish characters are not showing in indexhibit. Via PHPMyAdmin, I set the language as utf-8-general, tried latin5_turkish_ci but it is not working. do you think this might be happening because of my hosting service. is anyone else struggling with the same problem?

You have to change them through out your tables (and it's contents)

Usually what I do is to change the collation before I start installing

sorry, what do you mean by "your tables and its contents"?

for example: next to ndxz_objects click the icon that resembles hand pointing a table.
There's a series of collations that need fixing..
