I am a student trying to create an online portfolio of my work.
I have a website, however I used wordpress- as this is what we were recommended to use in our class.
I am wondering if it is possible to change my website from wordpress to indexhibit?
This is all completely new to me and I have hardly any website knowledge. So if you guys think I should just stick to wordpress then let me know!
Thank you, appreciate all help!!

Any more details?
have you checked with your host that they have all the requirements covered:

Linux/Apache server(Apache on Windows is not supported)
PHP4+
MySQL 3.23+

Svanlint: It all depends what you want the outcome to be, and how much time you are willing to invest to get there.
If you mean can you migrate all your content from Wordpress to Indexhibit, then no, there is no automatic way of doing that.

If you see the code...you don't even have PHP enabled...ask your host for help with that.

@svalinit: this isn't really a question for us to answer, it's purely your decision.

thanks a lot for your help, i contacted my webhost and i installed indexhibit fine.

however when i connect to my homepage i still just return to my webhost log-in site. i've been looking at other threads to get a solution - i'm pretty sure the index.php file is in the root folder.

my site is howley86.com if thats any help.my website is< href="http://www.howley86.com">

Your site is there (kitty with a banjo!) - you need to delete the index.html file at the root of your site - it's blocking the view.

Hi,

I have exactly the opposite problem. I am helping a friend to build a new site, but since I can't use Indexhibit, I would like to migrate on wordpress, but I don't know how to do it. I am not a webmaster, I can just creat a blog...

Thank you for your help

Marco

...but that's not an Indexhibit issue or related to Indexhibit in anyway.

This thread has been closed, thank you.
