Several issues with upgrade

Hi,
I upgraded and merge my old Indexhibit site to the new 2..
site is at
blioux.com

Pages are now long winded (besides the issue I'm having with modwrite) for example the Fashion page is:
blioux.com/index.php/fashion2/fashion/

Portraits are
blioux.com/index.php/book-i/book-i/

Did I nest the new installation/site files wrong?
I don't understand why the gallery name repeats itself.

My Home page heading is now reading "Info : blioux.com"
It just seems like a lot of wonky stuff is going on and I don't know where to start to fix.

Second...I am now lost as to how to edit the CSS/layout.
In your instructions you state "If you wish to customize your site further we suggest that you duplicate the default folder, give it a new name, and then make your changes/additions. ".
Where do you duplicate? I don't see the option in the control panel.
Are you suggesting to duplicate off line and edit and it will then show up as an option in the control panel?

I was hoping that merging my old site would be simple...I now feel like I should have just started over.

...maybe a host or server setting?
It is strange because I can see you pages in these url's as well:
blioux.com/book-i/book-i/
blioux.com/fashion2/fashion/

I'd have a go with your host... Maybe he knows something you (and I) don't...

What's really strange is that my section titles are showing up active links.
Where can I change/disable this?
My web host says the have no problem with modwrite-no matter what I do I can't get the URLs cleaned up.
Can anyone help?

I noticed that in my exhibit index my "HOME" section is showing as my 'home" page-which it should.
But in the admin/sections area INFO is highlighted green and when clicked takes you to my home page.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can easily unpublish and republish your exhibits.

You can unpublish the section pages so they only appear at titles.

But, I would resolve the htacess issue first - make sure it's running properly and pages are showing.

Yeah Vaska! Thanks for your help.
URLs all cleaned up.
I still have that weird thing going on where I can't change the link names.
It should be
blioux.com/work/book i
Instead it's
blioux.com/fashion2/fashion/
Seems like the old exhibit names are sticking...is redoing the exhibit my only option to get the URL to read correctly?
Thanks again for your help,
MsP

In case this is helpful for other users upgrading-if you simply unpublish and re-publish your exhibit it should regenerate your page address so that it reads correctly.
Took me ahile but I figured it out.
blioux.com/work/collection-i/
If you need to rename your exbhiit it looks like you need to do this too.
Unpublish and republish it to have the address read correctly.

This thread has been closed, thank you.
