downgrading

dievaz / 2013-02-21 00:36:05

Hi, I just upgraded to 2.0, but I have a real mess in my website now.
Does someone know if there is any way to downgrade and have the things as before again or something?
I want to do this because I need the website for tomorrow, and I haven't time to fix all the problems that I have with this new version.

Thanks and cheers!

Have you kept a backup of your site?

Do yo mind the old folders files and ndxz-studio? yes, have this ones.
Must I put them again in the ftp and erase the ones of the actualization?

Nope. You just need to reupload the old root index.php file.

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'defaults.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib//usr/local/lib/…') in /home/s0941357/public_html/index.php on line 23

Essentially when you upgrade the only file you replace is the index.php file in the root directory.
ndxz-studio coexists with ndxzstudio and ndxzsite (and you need to create the dimgs folder inside the files folder)

ok, but I only saved the index.php file that was inside the ndzx-studio. Not the one in the root directory... You mean reupload this one instead the root directory one?

And other two things. I'm not allowed to change the css files in the control panel of the actualization. I can see it but I can't change it. I think I changed the permissions to 777.
And I can't see the home too as a section in the control panel...

I'm really confused on what you're doing...
If you want to temporarily downgrade then simply replace the index.php of your root directory.

If none of this is working and as you said you kept backups of your files, folders and your database then revert your server and your database to the latest backup.

Ok. I started again.
I installed from 0 indexhibit 2.0. and I'm want to do a new website.
Now the problem is that in "Assets", in the control panel, I can't change or rewrite the css.
Do you know what is the problem?
Thanks a lot and sorry . I don't know anything about do a web...

Ok, I don't know how but I fixed it. Now I can write.

Thanks!
