can't solve 404 Not Found issue

eroche / 2014-01-14 00:44:39

my site is: evanroche.com

when I go to install at evanroche.com/ndxzstudio/… I only see the 404 not found page, (or sometimes a page that says that the connection was reset, which would be related to my personal internet except it only happens when viewing this particular page)

As it suggested in common installation problems I checked that I uploaded the files to my root folder, and then tried uploading them to what I think was the root folder for what is called SSL (not sure what this means).

I've been trying to get this set up over the past couple weeks and am pretty stumped.

No, not SSL. Can't your host give you guidance where to put your files?

Yes, the host instructed me where where my home file was, and this is where I uploaded the indexhibit files.

They told you to put the files in the SSL folder? That's definitely not the right folder.

Sorry, I meant to say I had put them in the /html folder (the root), which gave me the 404 not found prompt.

next I tried also adding them to a folder which I believe is called htsml, which was apparently the home folder for an SSL connection. either way I still got the same 404 prompt

Send me your ftp login and i'll take a look - something is wrong here (and it's not caused by Indexhibit).

contact at indexhibit dot org

Hi there,

I decided to switch to a new host and the problem was solved by doing that.

Thanks
