When I submit my info on page two of install.php, it goes to a blank html and i see from the network panel on chrome that there is a 500 Internal Service Error in fetching the page. I have double checked db info. Running MySQL 14.14, PHP 5.3.10. I tried messing with permissions, but the first page of install.php seemed to think they were fine. Any help would greatly appreciated!
500 Error means that there's a server issue
Since you haven't installed try reuploading all your files - sometimes ftp cuts off.
If that won't work either I would contact the host and tell them about it - ask them about permissions as well.
Permissions and files are good. Seems that the install script is not reaching the point where it tries to connect to MySQL, when I change the db pass and user nothing changes. PHP version or settings need to be changed maybe?
What did your host say?
